What to do for 2027

  1. When open enrollment opens, see whether UnitedHealthcare plans are offered in your county on Georgia Access.

  2. Enroll by December 15, 2026 for coverage starting January 1, 2027.

  3. Check your doctors, hospital and prescriptions against each new plan's network and drug list.

  4. Liked a $0-deductible Copay Focus plan or a "+" plan with dental and vision? Compare deductibles, and look for dental and vision versions from other insurers.

  5. Your deductible and out-of-pocket totals start over with a new insurer on January 1. This would be the second time UnitedHealthcare left Georgia's exchange; it also left for 2017.
