Kaiser Permanente Marketplace Plans in Georgia
Kaiser Permanente is both the insurer and, for most care, the doctor's office. It sells only in 20 metro Atlanta-area counties, and it holds CMS's top 5-star Marketplace rating in Georgia for 2025 and 2026.
- Proposed changes are as filed. Georgia hasn't published final rates yet.

What makes Kaiser Permanente different
Primary care, specialists, lab, x-ray and pharmacy are usually in the same Kaiser medical office. Your records stay in one system, and mental health care needs no referral.
Kaiser's Georgia plans earned 5 out of 5 stars in every CMS rating category in both 2025 and 2026.
Virtual Complete plans include chat, email, phone and video visits at no charge. Adult preventive dental and adult vision are built into the medical plans.
Six core metro counties use the narrower Signature network: Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett and Henry. There, primary care is with Kaiser doctors and prescriptions come from Kaiser pharmacies or mail order.

Is Kaiser Permanente a good fit?
A good fit if
- You live in one of its 20 metro counties
- You want most of your care in one place
- A top CMS rating matters to you
Think twice if
- Outside Kaiser's network, coverage is generally limited to emergencies, approved referrals and visits to other Kaiser regions. If your current doctors aren't Kaiser doctors, you'd likely switch.
- Kaiser plans aren't sold outside its 20 counties, including Athens-Clarke, even though Kaiser has an Athens office.
- Kaiser contracts with hospitals rather than owning them, and the hospital you'd use depends on your Kaiser doctor. If a specific hospital matters to you, confirm it with Kaiser.
