What to do for 2027

  1. Open enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1, 2026 through January 15, 2027 on HealthCare.gov.

  2. Pick a new plan by December 15 so coverage starts January 1. Later enrollments start February 1 and leave a January gap.

  3. Molina networks will not carry over. Confirm your doctors and prescriptions on each new plan.

  4. 2026 standouts included Silver Saver with four free PCP visits and Bronze Premier with a $0 medical deductible. Match those features carefully.

  5. Do not wait for automatic renewal. Pick a new 2027 plan by December 15 for January 1 coverage. Deductibles and out-of-pocket totals start over with a new insurer on January 1. If you're in ongoing treatment, such as pregnancy, cancer care or a scheduled surgery, check your doctors' networks before you switch.
