Plan names and Health First marketing say no referral is needed for in-network specialists.
Many metals add adult dental and vision. Two metals carry Enhanced Diabetes Benefits.

Is Health First a good fit?
A good fit if
- You live in Brevard, Indian River, Orange, Volusia or Flagler County
- Your care centers on Health First hospitals on the Space Coast
- You want an Open Access HMO that does not require specialist referrals
Think twice if
- Outside those five counties, Health First is not an option on HealthCare.gov.
- CMS overall rating fell to 2 of 5 stars for 2026, and member experience is not rated this year.
- Value / High Value Network plan names imply a narrower tier — confirm your specialists before you pick one.
