What to do for 2027

  1. Compare 2027 plans on HealthCare.gov from Nov 1, 2026 through Jan 15, 2027.

  2. Choose a replacement by Dec 15 so coverage starts Jan 1 without a gap.

  3. Hospitals and clinics stay open to other insurers. Pick a plan that still contracts with the Baylor Scott & White providers you use.

  4. In 13 counties where Baylor and Blue Cross were the only 2026 choices, Blue Cross may be alone in 2027 unless another insurer expands.

  5. HSA bronze members who want to keep HSA eligibility need an HSA-eligible replacement plan. Deductibles and out-of-pocket totals restart with a new insurer.
