What happens to my Molina plan in Mississippi for 2027?

Mississippi's insurance commissioner says Molina will withdraw from the Marketplace after 2026. Molina filed no 2027 Marketplace rates, so plan to choose a new insurer for January 1.
  1. Molina should mail a notice about your plan ending. Keep it, and call the number on your card with questions.

  2. Open enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1, 2026 through January 15, 2027 on HealthCare.gov. Enroll by December 15 for January 1.

  3. Ambetter sells in every county. UnitedHealthcare and Oscar cover fewer counties, so check yours.

  4. A new insurer has its own network and drug list. Look up your doctors and prescriptions before you choose.

  5. Molina hasn't posted its own Mississippi notice yet, so the commissioner's statement is the main source. Your deductible and out-of-pocket totals start over with a new insurer on January 1. Molina's Mississippi Medicaid plans are separate and aren't part of the Marketplace change.
