Cigna Is Leaving Arizona's Marketplace: What Members Should Do
Cigna is leaving Arizona's individual market after 2026, along with every other state where it sells these plans. If you have a Cigna Connect HMO, you need a new insurer for 2027.

What happens to my Cigna plan in Arizona for 2027?
Open enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1, 2026 through January 15, 2027 on HealthCare.gov. Compare AZ Blue, Ambetter, Oscar, UnitedHealthcare and Antidote.
Pick a new plan by December 15 so coverage starts January 1. Later choices start February 1 and can leave a gap.
Cigna's Connect network will not carry over. Look up your doctors, hospital and prescriptions in each new plan's directory.
In 2026 only AZ Blue and Imperial overlapped Cigna in Yavapai. Prescott and Verde Valley shoppers should check those first.
Your deductible and out-of-pocket totals start over with a new insurer on January 1. Members using $0 MDLive virtual care or the $25 preferred-insulin cap should compare those benefits on replacement plans. HonorHealth PCPs were already out of Cigna Connect while specialists stayed in. Confirm the next plan's HonorHealth status.
